Democracy Alert (also DemAlert App) is an innovative smartphone/tablet application designed to identify and map breaches of democratic values in Europe, but also point out democratic progress. The application monitors the situation concerning democratic values and civil liberties, giving users the opportunity to report any breach they witness. All so-called DemAlerts will be collected, organised and visualized through the application, mainly through the hashtag #DemAlert.
