One of the best and most distinguishing features of Android has always been the ability to add widgets to the homescreen of your launcher. Unfortunately, not all widgets are pretty, and some take up a disproportionate amount of space for what they do. As a stickler for a clean homescreen, this always ends up with me discarding all my widgets in favor or neatly organized rows or icons or folders. Until now.With Gizmos, your app icon and your widget coexist in a way they never have before. Single click on the app icon to launch the app, or double tap to open the apps widget in a folder like window floating above your homscreen.If the behavior sounds familiar, it should.
