Pseudo-Data stores profile and account data in a safe way.I create accounts for all sorts of things. I construct different profiles because I don't want to share my private data with everyone and everything.Most of the time, it is not important and I write information like login, passwordor secret answer down on a piece of paper, which - of course - I never find again. Sometimes it is important though... and the trouble begins.Therefore, I created this small application to replace those sneaky little pieces of paper for good. If this sounds familiar, it may also come in handy for you.It also can be used as a password keeper / safe.Security is an issue for me. It is one of the main reasons I created the app myself.No Internet PermissionBecause you never know.Transparent Data EncryptionOpen source data encryption and password caching for maximum transparency.This application uses SQLCipher, "an open source extension to SQLite that provides transparent 256-bit AES encryption of database files."The password is stored as encrypted data on your device using CacheWord, an open source "library project for passphrase caching and management." The password itself is never written onto your device.There is no password recovery. It is important that you are careful. If you lose your password, you lose your data. You are free to skip the creation of a password. But I do not recommend it. I will not be liable for any loss or damage including without limitation, indirect or consequential loss or damage, or any loss or damage whatsoever arising from loss of data or profits arising out of, or in connection with, the use of this application.I cannot be held responsible for any loss of data from the use of this application. Local DataThe data is with you at all times. No external server. Names only, nothing else. No other accounts are involved.It displays the names of your Google accounts and is sending the name to the Google Play Store-app if youmake use of the in-app purchase.Google knows your accounts, therefore this approach of identifying users is somewhat safe and reasonable in myopinion.Billing ServiceUsed for in-app billing.The downside? Ok, ok, there is always a catch. No ads, alright.But I put in an in-app purchase to lift all restrictions.
