Anyone could just turn off the volume or shutdown your phone. The best solution is to password protect your lock screen.@Armando, @dionisus, @jasand: There is a combination of hardware - android version, that on a few devices turns off accelerometer when the screen goes off. Please check latest version >1.4.0.
